General Rules
First and Foremost, please be polite! New and veterans members are all important to SWLOTS, all should be created equal and in the eyes of the staff all will be created equal.
No one is omnipresent, you can't be everywhere and know everything. Keep your characters knowledge reasonable, if someone is being omnipresent you will receive a warning.
Here at SWLOTS there is no post count, although we do ask you try your best with every post.
No fighting Out of Character, In character you may fight everyone you meet but please do not fight with each player. If you have a problem with another member, and you would like it addressed please message a Staff Member for a resolution.
No Pornographic stuff, This includes detailed RP sessions in and out of PMs, in posts, and pictures of similar nature. This site is Rated PG-13, if you wonder if your post is okay think about every PG-13 movie you've ever seen and if its not in that movie its not allowed.
Character Rules
No out of Galaxy Species (Yuuzhan Vong)
No resurrected canon characters, a death is a death. Sidious is dead he can't come back, Kit Fisto is dead also cannot come back. Revan is dead, you get the idea.
Any species can be Jedi/Grey/Sith provided there is a Canon character already around. A good example is the Jawa Jedi or the Tusken Jedi, while many believe they cannot there are canon sources of both being wielders of the force and even knighted. No you can't be an Ewok Jedi because an Unidentified lightsaber wielding Ewok is no canon, is a myth.
Grey Jedi; While they are allowed, you must have a backstory about their Jedi/Sith training and why they broke away from their order, it wouldn't be right to just have a bunch of self taught grey jedi, while this can occur characters with self taught won't be allowed.
Canon Character; Canon refers to characters in the TV Show/Comics/Movies and all those characters are accepted as long as it does not conflict with any of the current rules. Canon characters will be held to a much higher standard than normal characters. This is because they have a already written system of beliefs and a built personality, in order to keep your Canon character you must prove you can stay in character.
Character Limit; You can have as many characters as your heart desires, the only rule is you keep them active. Each person will be limited to 1 Canon Character, and that person will be required to maintain a certain activity. Canon characters for a while will be very important until they are either killed off or deemed irrelevant.
Characters in High Positions; If you are going to have characters on opposite sides one can be high ranking but the other must be either lower tier or mid tier without a chance to grow higher. This is to prevent the same persons from possibly powerplaying information. By using knowledge the other character has it can tip a favor of balance one way.
RP Rules
RPing should be done in Third Person; Past Tense. This is hopefully pretty self-explanatory.
No power-playing, this is common with Jedi/Sith and the belief that they can control their opponents. You can't directly say you struck your opponent without prior permission, Leave attacks open for a chance to defend. Also no one is all powerful and can defend every shot, even the strongest of Star Wars Canons have been overwhelmed and have lost hands, feet, heads.
Which brings me to my next point of you are going to kill off your character; first notify a Staff member. If your character is a high ranking official or Jedi we will plan to open vacancy for your position. If you RP a Canon character you must get the approval of Covenant, so that people don't immediately make Canon characters to kill off.
Grey Jedi; While they are allowed, you must have a backstory about their Jedi/Sith training and why they broke away from their order, it wouldn't be right to just have a bunch of self taught grey jedi, while this can occur characters with self taught won't be allowed.
